Hello!
My name is Gabi (or sometimes Bysia) and I am passionate about all forms of storytelling! Books, films, series, games, tabletop games, podcasts - anything that tells a story. I’m always keen to chat about these topics or hear about your favourites. I’m constantly on the lookout for something new!

As if that didn’t keep me busy enough, I’m also a crafter. I sew, embroider, play music, crochet, knit, and paint miniatures! I’m always happy to share some DIY tips or learn something completely new.

I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their perspectives on the world and the game. One of the best parts of any RPG is when the notes are cast aside and we embark on an epic adventure together. Feel free to surprise me with your ideas anytime!

I’m looking forward to playing together ;3

How I conduct games

My games often revolve around roleplay and puzzles, whether it's cracking codes or determining if the NPC you're conversing with has good intentions. I enjoy when players devise wild plans and unconventional solutions, and I absolutely love those moments in games when someone delivers a five-minute monologue explaining why, against all odds, their one-in-a-million plan will actually succeed! (I have a soft spot for this; it works 99% of the time.)

I enjoy incorporating music, playing with the idea that not everything is as it seems, and creating layers upon layers of conspiracy that run deep. Depending on the mood, this can take on darker tones or shift towards more light-hearted adventures with lower stakes.

Learn more about me

What I love most to hear from a player is...

"Alright, I have a mad idea but hear me out." Then they always proceed to describe something that seems far-fetched, yet just close enough to make me chuckle and say, "you know what? Give it a go." And somehow, it always works! One of the mysteries of the universe, I suppose.

What players think of my games…

I believe the positive feedback I receive most often (or basically every time I play with any group) is that my greatest strengths are the music and the NPCs. I enjoy bringing the characters to life, giving them their own little stories, and making them an integral part of the world. That, of course, doesn’t mean they aren’t a narrative device to help the players shine the brightest – but I do relish the social interaction and social puzzles... as well as the significant choices based on the NPCs you have come to love ;3

The villain I became too fond of…

There was this one character I created who was entirely redeemable, complete with a tragic love story and all the elements needed for a proper dark romance. Unfortunately, despite this, my players decided he had to go - or, as the saying goes, "the evil twink must pay". I felt sad for days afterwards. He still lingers a bit rent-free in my mind.
